Quiet Room

Take a break from the bustle of the convention and recharge in MNeurodivergent’s Sensory Space—a welcoming environment designed for rest, regulation, and comfort.

This space is open to all attendees who may need a pause from the crowds, noise, and excitement of Fables & Flames. Whether you’re feeling overstimulated, anxious, or simply need a quiet moment, our Sensory Space offers a calm environment to reset.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Soothing seating including a hammock swing, crash pads, and a folding rocking chair
  • Fidget toys and sensory tools for grounding and self-regulation
  • Bubble tubes and sensory tiles for calming visual and tactile stimulation
  • Blackout tents for those who prefer enclosed, low-light spaces
  • Noise-reducing earmuffs for relief from overwhelming sound
  • Soft lighting and gentle visuals to create a peaceful environment

Our trained volunteers will ensure the space remains inclusive, supportive, and respectful for everyone. The Sensory Space is a judgment-free zone—come as you are, stay as long as you need, and return whenever you wish.

At MNeurodivergent, we believe accessibility means making room for every attendee’s sensory needs. This space exists so you can step away, recharge, and rejoin the magic of Fables & Flames feeling refreshed and supported.
