Memorial Blood Centers is Minnesota’s leading blood product producer, supplying over 60 local hospitals — including Trauma 1 Centers, Children’s Hospitals, Life Link III air ambulances, and the hospitals under M Health Fairview, Ridgeview, and Allina.

We need over 12,000 units every month to meet hospital demands. Blood cannot be synthetically created, which means we rely on generous donors — true heroes who keep our community strong. Every 2 seconds, someone needs a blood transfusion, yet less than 3% of the population donates. That’s a heavy burden for such a small group of people to carry, which is why community blood drives are so essential.
