T.D. Cloud infuses her love of all things historic into her work, blending folklore, fantasy, and history to create rich stories and engaging narratives. Cloud has been writing LGBTQIA+ romance and erotica novels set in fantasy worlds since 2016, beginning her professional writing career with Brontide, the first in what would become the five-book Tempest Series. From fae to Drow to vampires to witches, all of her works include diverse gender identities, sexualities, and immersive world building. ​​

Some of her accolades include winning the Queer Indie Award’s “Best Novella of 2023” award for OSSUARY, an erotic horror novella featuring a witch encountering a curse-made-manifest in the Parisian Catacombs and receiving multiple nominations in the 2024 Indie Ink Awards and Indie Verse Awards for her dark romance, dark fantasy, dark fairytale novel INFAUST, a story of a witch without a familiar forced to work together with a chaos god, wielder of the very magic that ruined his life. She has written for multiple zine projects, offered forwards in two of Discovery Press’s Rediscovery scifi anthologies, and written various guidebooks for award-winning oracle and tarot decks for the artist Ambi Sun. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​
